Team and era reset guide

Use this to decide whether a spin is worth playing, or whether to spend your one-time team reset or era reset. Spin tier rewards both top-pick power and full team-era depth. Ceiling is the record estimate if all five lineup spots came only from that team and era. Tap a row to see the top five players for that spin.

Perfect-run targetFor 82-0 attempts, hunt for S+ or S outcomes across the lineup. A+ is playable when the rest of the build is already elite.
Play itS+ through A spins usually have enough ceiling to build around. B and C are more situational.
Reset if you canD and F spins are usually where your team or era reset gets its value, especially early in a perfect-run attempt.

Use this when your lineup has a hole and you need to know who can fill it without giving up too much value.

How to use it

Draft board shortcuts

S+ and S are the picks you almost never pass on. A+ and A are strong anchors for great teams. If you are chasing 82-0, try to finish with S-tier strength at every slot; A+ can survive in the right build, while B and below usually need a very specific positional reason. F means the player should basically never appear in an optimized lineup unless the spin leaves you no real choice.

Start with tierIf the tier gap is big, take the better tier.
Use spin rankWhen stuck on a team-era spin, spin rank tells you the best local answer.
Check positionsMulti-position players are extra useful when your lineup is still unsettled.

Scoring model

How 82-0 values a lineup

The game appears to turn a five-player stat line into one team score. Points carry the most weight, rebounds and assists matter a lot, and steals plus blocks add smaller defensive boosts. The closer the lineup gets to an 82-0 score, the harder each extra win becomes.

Stat mixEstimated score uses PTS, REB, AST, STL, and BLK. Missing older defensive stats are filled by scaling the known defensive stats across five lineup slots.
Observed weightsPTS: 46%, REB: 25%, AST: 18%, STL: 7%, BLK: 4%, each normalized against the game benchmarks.
Wins curveThe model then converts team score into wins, capped at 82. Elite lineups need balanced stat volume, not just one huge scorer.
